Vol.A in Rete press conference presentation

A press conference to present the Vol.A in Rete project will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. at the Sala delle Bandiere of the Palazzo Senatorio in Piazza del Campidoglio in Rome.

Vol.A in Rete is the project to welcome pilgrims arriving in the city of Rome for the Jubilee of the Catholic Church 2025 promoted by the Civil Protection Department and the Department of Social Policies and Health at Assessorato Politiche Sociali e Salute of Roma Capitale and implemented by CSV Lazio ETS and Forum Terzo Settore Lazio APS, which will run from the opening of the Holy Door of St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican for the entire Jubilee Year.

The project will mobilize thousands of volunteers and involve a wide network of organizations, in a widespread reception system that includes fixed information points at association headquarters and mobile ones linked to strategic places in the Capital.

Agostino Miozzo, Coordinator of the Jubilee 2025 reception and assistance services.

Barbara Funari, Councillor for Social Policies and Health of Roma Capitale

Giuseppe Napolitano, Director of Civil Protection Department Roma Capitale

Cristina De Luca, President CSV Lazio ETS

Francesca Danese, Spokesperson Forum Terzo Settore Lazio

Michela Micheli, Director of the Department of Social Policies and Health, and Gianna Rita Zagaria, Director of Reception and Inclusion, Department of Social Policies and Health at Assessorato Politiche Sociali e Salute di Roma Capitale will be present.

The Jubilee Year touches closely on the city of Rome, but the activation of volunteers will have a national scope to which CSVnet National Association of Service Centers and the National Forum of the Third Sector will contribute, for which President Chiara Tommasini and Spokesperson Vanessa Pallucchi will be present, respectively.
