Throughout the Jubilee year,  Reception points will be open on different days and hours.

In addition, in the places where the planned events of the Jubilee year will take place, the  Mobile Units will be deployed. The Mobile Unit will keep an ear to the ground to catch the needs of pilgrims on the spot and will provide a direct response or will direct people to the most appropriate territorial resources to provide it. The Mobile Units will be activated, with varying intensity, according to the expected turnout.

In both types of units:

  • we will provide information related on how to reach sacred places and tourist attractions;
  • we will provide information about Jubilee-related events and their logistics;
  • respecting people’s privacy, we will provide support for signing up and/or using the most useful apps to those who have difficulty using digital tools;
  • we will distribute informative material: maps of Rome, calendar of events and any specific material related to them;
  • we will distribute water bottles;
  • we will provide information and assistance in foreign languages;
  • we will guide people in distress to the main services in the area (First Aid, SOS – social emergency operations room, etc.);
  • we will provide support for any issue that pilgrims may face (theft, loss of support tools, finding medicines, etc.);
  • we will provide detailed information on events that are specifically organized by Vol.A in Rete, involving pilgrims in their enjoyment.
The map shows the Reception Points and Mobile Units (when activated) of the Vol.A in Rete project and the location of some other of the Pilgrims’ Reception Points and Points of Interest reported by the Civil Defense Department of Roma Capitale.
